Summary of Works:
PHC services carried out the full refurbishment for the project including Site management, on-site engineering, surveying and dimensional controls together with all site installation and erection activities, works consisted of façade retention, existing floor strengthening, new lift-shafts and stairways, with the execution of “load-transfer” supporting steelwork for removal of load baring internal walls.
A challenging “award winning” project carried out by PHC services and conducted for Bourne steel (London) on behalf of ISG interiors and Exteriors, many internal features required retention due to local planning regulations thus all new steelwork was located and installed by hand using, floor trolleys, chain blocks and jacking systems, night-time deliveries to the centre of London were lifted onto the existing roof by the on-site tower crane for lowering through selected openings onto various floor levels.
