Summary of Works:

PHC provided senior construction management for the concept, constructability strategy and FEED input for the proposed Karachaganak expansion project in Aksai, Kazakhstan. Working on the client’s agenda of “local content” and the “high-risk” H2S gas exposure radius at site, PHC management proposed a reduced site content of labour with pre-assembled units outside of the gas radius and transported to site via specialist trailers.

Following 12 months of construction concept, strategy and optimisation in conjunction with the KPO management located in Uralsk, Kazakhstan, a “construction execution plan” was developed and accepted for construction inclusive of FEED details and coordination. FID reached in 2021.
